The Henry Varnum Poor Foundation, Inc.

Our Mission

The mission of the Henry Varnum Poor Foundation, Inc. is to connect contemporary audiences to the legacy of Henry Varnum Poor so that the public may gain enjoyment, knowledge, and inspiration from Poor’s life work.  To do that, the Foundation may/will strive to:

A)      preserve, maintain and provide access to Crow House; not excluding the possibility of acquiring it;

B)      receive, acquire, preserve, maintain, exhibit the creative work of the late Henry Varnum Poor;

C)      establish and foster community and / or educational collaborations relating to Poor’s life and creative work;

D)     develop and maintain the financial resources necessary to achieve the mission of the organization.
